Tooth Implant Procedure
Can I get a dental implant some where other than my dental clinic?
I had a front tooth extraction and I need an implant, can I pay out of pocket at another office?
reply by Shelly ~ AdminHi there, I don't know why you would not be able to go somewhere else if you are willing to pay out of pocket.
Here are a few thoughts, but remember, I don't know anything about your specific situation.
Typically, a person can go to any dentist to have any dental treatment completed...if they don't mind paying out of pocket for whatever is not covered by dental insurance.
If you have dental insurance, there may be restrictions on where you can go in order to have all or part of your treatment paid for by your insurance provider.
Some dental insurance plans pay more of your dental costs if you go to a dentist in their network and less if you choose to go out of network. You should have a list of dentists that are in network for your dental plan.
If you have dental insurance, call your provider, they can help you with the details of your particular plan.
Teeth implants are a great choice for replacing a tooth.
They do require significant time and money.
It's important to choose a good dentist who is experienced in placing implants and answers all your questions about the time and money involved.
There is a very big price range for dental implants. My advice is to take your time and research all your options...don't just pick the lowest price.
