South Florida Dentist, Dr Hirsch

For me to like a dentist is like a canary liking a cat. Seriously. I'm petrified of dentists - a fear that began when I was about 5 with 13 cavities. And the fact that I experience actual pain with high-pitched whirring noises. Dr. Hirsch is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Coral Springs and Boca Raton, FL. He's efficient, friendly, patient in answering questions clearly, and great with follow-up. After 14 years in Nashville TN I came to FL with a mouth like a hillbilly--some poor dentistry added to weak teeth. I needed two posts on one side and two extractions on the other. The good dentist put me out and when I woke up it was all done, and done well. Got good meds (and not too many, like some other over-prescribing dentists), it healed up well, he checked it weekly for a month, and I'm very happy. Never thought I'd say that after a dental experience. --Batya, South Florida |
