You may have noticed that your hygienist usually has more time to spend with you than your dentist...
Hygienists have the luxury of spending a whole hour with our clients...plenty of time to cover a variety of topics:) It's what I love most about being a hygienist.
Of course, your own dentist or hygienist is the best person to ask, but sometimes you think of something after your appointment and then it is too late to ask them...You can ask that nagging question here.
While I can't diagnose problems, I would love to help you with your questions, maybe give some suggestions, and point you in the right direction.
Dental problems can be so overwhelming when you don't know where to start or how serious it could be. A clear understanding of the problem and a decisive step by step treatment plan will make those problems seem less intimidating.
No, you can't get all of that here... but maybe I can help you take a step toward better health.
You should know why treatment is needed, how long it will take, how much it will cost, and if there are any possible alternatives.
Dentistry is not an exact science, many times there are choices and they should be yours to make after a complete explanation.
Your contribution will make this free dental health resource more valuable for everyone who uses it.
I will do my best to answer your question...
