Do you know a dentist in my area? A dental appointment can be good or really bad. It's worth some time and research to make a good choice.
As a dental hygienist, I have learned some tell-tale signs of good and bad dentists.

Ask your friends for a referral or search for a dentist close by.
Use our customized tool to search the internet and find a dentist near you. Type "dentist" then your city and state.

Some dental clients have specific needs and would prefer to see a dental specialist.
If you are looking for a dentist who specializes, be sure to include that in your search.
After your city and state, add an adjective or two to describe the kind of dentist or dental care you are searching for. Childrens, cosmetic, implant, sedation....etc.
Got a few names? Great! The internet is a great place to start your search for a dentist.
But it shouldn't stop there.
The more you know about your new dentist before your first appointment, the happier and more satisfied you will be.
